Bio | CV

Rae Heller was born and raised in West Windsor, NJ and currently lives in Brattleboro, VT. Rae graduated from Simmons College with a BA in Arts Administration and Art. Whether on canvas, quilts, or ceramic tiles, Heller’s work focuses on pattern, play, and process. Heller hopes to create work with sustainability in mind, whether masking tape, or scrap fabrics, all by-products of the art making process become new ways to create. The balance of precision and play is a constant. When not making art, Heller works as an American Sign Language Interpreter, plays canasta and other team sports, and gardens.

You can find Rae's quilted wares at The Joinery in Shelbourne Falls, MA.
